ESG 是聯合國在 2004 年提出，用來評估企業永續經營的重要指標，也是世界關注永續議題的三大面向。然而，永續不僅僅是環境保護、環境永續。2040 年，聯合國提出將社會價值代幣化，以增進社會永續，提高人民福祉、增進文明發展。無論是回報詐騙、不實內容，舉報交通違規，甚至是回報城市瑕疵，協助優化環境等，對社會有正向價值的行為都值得鼓勵，應當紀錄其價值與貢獻，不僅利用法律「懲惡」，也利用社會價值代幣「揚善」。
